Shalom's Back

Finally, Shalom is back yesterday morning! I didn't really play with him yesterday cos I was sick. I was resting most of the time. I took some photos of Chubby and Shalom.

After the whole getting sick and being hospitalize ordeal, Shalom & my bond went up another level. He started licking me all over. Lick my legs, hands and even my face. He means so much to me cos he is very affectionate and responsive. Shalom is so blessed! He had so much favors from people around him in the hospital. <^_^>

Shalom with a Bloated Stomach

Shalom has not been feeling well since yesterday. He didn't eat much nor drink much. He wouldn't even eat his favourite veggies and his favourite pellets.

Shalom did not want to go back to his cage, so we let him out all through the night. He hop up to my pillow and dig at my hair which caused me to wake up. I reckon he's feeling so terrible that he just want to snuggle up to me. He just lay on my pillow and close his eyes. I covered him with my blankets and snuggle him to sleep. Actually, I couldn't really sleep well cos my position was pretty awkward. He had 3/4 of the pillow and I had the rest. I couldn't bear to chase him away cos I know he is feeling terrible from the bloating.

This morning, I syringe him with some water. He drank it which is a good sign. When I heard that he was admitted to the animal hospital, my heart dropped. The uncertainty from the doctors that he will be alright is hard to accept.

Shalom means so much to me! The thought of the slightest possibility that he may not get well is so saddening....
